Finance Business Partner

Our client is seeking an experienced Part Qualified Finance Business Partner to join their growing Finance team based near Kidlington.

Our client is a well established business who is growing exponentially and are looking to add heads into their Finance team. This role is all about Business Partnering with the wider business and looking to use the Financials to advise on how to improve profitability. They are based near Kidlington in a countryside location, so a car driver is essential, and they are currently offering a hybrid working pattern.

Description

The Part Qualified Finance Business Partner will be a key member of our small Head Office team. the main purpose of the role is to provide real time insight into business performance and provide analysis and modelling to support business budgeting, planning and decision making. You will be supporting the CFO, COO and the leaders of the Operations, Marketing and Business Development functions directly with the information and insight that you generate. This is a very wide-ranging role, and we are looking for candidates with a broad skillset who are attracted by the variety and exposure that this brings.

The Main duties will include:

• Production and communication of daily, weekly and monthly trading reports with commentary and insight into performance trends
• Develop models for revenue and capacity budgeting and forecasting, identifying areas of opportunity and risk against plan targets
• Develop service line and service line margin analysis
• Provide insight to the senior management team into trends and variances
• Business partner with a range of management stakeholders to understand performance vs budget, highlighting areas of concern, focus or potential improvement
• Manage the annual budget and forecast updates
• Supporting month end processes with relevant information
• Updating the data warehouse
• Respond to ad-hoc information requests
• Provide expert input into the development of new IT applications, to ensure that IT developments will provide or improve management information.

Profile

The successful Finance Business Partner will have proven experience in a similar role with a strong background in analysis and the ability to take on Finance Business Partnering with the wider business.

• Proven experience in a previous Financial or Commercial Analyst role within a multi-site experience
• Able to analyse raw data and to summarise and to present in an easily understandable format
• Able to work autonomously, to manage workload and prioritise demands
• Strong communicator, both verbally and also via analytics

Job Offer

The salary on offer is £40,000 - £50,000 dependent upon experience and level of qualification.
