The Company

Robert Half Financial Services is hiring for a treasury vice president role within a growing global provider of administration in Hong Kong.

The Role

The financial reporting manager will be a member of the finance team, assisting in lead and support all treasury operations within the Firm's Asia lines of business which include Credit & Markets, Private Markets, and Management Company. The role will report into the Global Head of Treasury (NY) and will have a dotted line into the APAC CFO. This seat will be critical in extending the Firm's relationships, best practices, and technology in the APAC region as well as ensuring consistency in the region's adoption of evolving global policy and procedures. This role will require a strong partnership with the Firm's global finance & operations functions as well as the Asia based deal teams and many other stakeholders. The treasury vice president will be expected to play an active role on day-to-day operations and projects in the following areas:


  • Bank Account Management:
  • Account Opening & Closing processes
  • Signatory management
  • Online banking platform administration
  • Integration with TMS or reporting platform
  • Bank Relationship Management:
  • Fee/Cost management and oversight
  • Account placement decision making process formalization
  • Continuous dialogue around rates, short term liquidity products, and new offerings
  • Deal Funding & Realizations
  • Coordination with NY for funding from the "Funds"
  • Approve deal funding and distribution wires
  • Integration with deal team and Finance on deal pipeline and upcoming funding needs
  • Integration with and oversight of Bank Account Management team for account opening
  • Coordination with Finance for book purposes
  • Cash & Liquidity Management
  • Cash balance reporting and monitoring, including Fx
  • Integration w/ Finance regarding capital activity throughout investment lifecycle
  • Integration w/ Bank Account Management team for account closing
  • Cash reconciliation oversight
  • Other wire processing
  • Other capital movements
  • Expenses

    • Responsibilities also include:

    • Identify value creation opportunities for the Treasury function in the region and contribute to global thought leadership
    • Serve as primary treasury point of contact for deal teams, operations, & finance within the region
    • Serve as an active and collaborative member of the Global Treasury leadership team
    • Lead process standardization for the region - form strong partnerships with key stakeholders and "market" upcoming process and policy changes
    • Ensure best-in-class processes are operating with integrity
    • Oversight of junior staff supporting the global treasury function
