Job Description

The APAC Regulatory Reporting technology team is building a state of the art cloud-native platform that aims to streamline global regulatory reporting requirements and handle massive data volumes for the firm. As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in identifying, improving, and developing technology solutions that drive our strategic goals.

Key responsibilities
  • F acilitate business requirements discussions and partner with users/product owners to clarify, guide and refine regulatory reporting business requirements
  • Manage cross functional business stakeholders on solution requirement including mapping business processes, establishing project scope, goals and key value creation
  • Perform data analysis to ensure the data requirements for regulatory reporting are fulfilled
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases and perform functional testing of the system
  • Coordinate with the business users on UAT to ensure that the system is tested thoroughly
  • Closely track change requests / ad hoc activities and communicate the impact on a timely basis
  • Assist in addressing user queries and production incidents
  • Strong stakeholder management skills between multiple lines of business and the development team, and collaborating closely with our team.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years of system analyst / business analyst experience focusing on software development in a Investment Banking domain is preferred
  • S trong understanding of at least one business function in the banking and finance sector
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Advanced proficiency in business applications, data usage and management
  • Strong proficiency in SQL - demonstrable hands-on experience is essential
  • Analytical and a problem solver. Positive attitude and passionate about being part of the banking sector

Desired experience
  • Previous experience working in the financial sector or IT consulting environment
  • Understanding of risk management and financial data along with a regulatory risk environment
  • Experience in Payments or Regulatory Reporting Domain
