Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) works with mid-market and fast growth businesses across the world, especially clients with international presence and aspirations. The Regional Treasury Sales Lead will work closely with Commercial Banking's top (platinum) & clients, the leadership, sales, and product partners across the region. The incumbent will drive strategic initiatives and commercialization, as well as lead complex deals and multi-product opportunities. This is a team leader role with senior individual contributor aspects as well, expected to partner and influence decision makers across clients and within the bank with an aim to make Citi the go to international banking partner for our client segments.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategic initiatives, new product commercialization and process rationalization to help grow revenues
  • Lead complex sales conversations and help clients transform their treasury
  • Become subject matter expert for solution-based selling, and foster incoming talent with the right mindset
  • Become an expert on all treasury and cash management offerings both at the bank, and the broader market
  • Lead an Industry Segment (such as Industrials, Fintech, Healthcare, Business Services)
  • Lead 1 or 2 critical sub-products/workstreams that are foundational pillars for success
  • Lead marketing and case study focused initiatives by industry in collaboration with partners
  • Partner with product experts to improve offering, client experience and innovation
  • Work with management on planning, resourcing, and market expansion
  • Evaluate issues to identify potential impact and take steps to mitigate, advise proactive solutions and develop an approach involving weighing of various alternatives.
  • Coach and mentor your team, providing them with the resources and guidance to bring the best out of them.
  • Provide solutions for all escalated client issues and co-ordinate resolution ensuring best possible client experience.
  • Keep the management team updated on progress of the team's performance, with a plan on how to solve for potential challenge
  • Travel: 25%

  • Experience in managing people, demonstrating how you have helped them develop in their careers
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deliverables both for clients and internally
  • Experience in managing client relationships, ability to influence others to support client needs
  • Know where to apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
  • Fluency in English; European languages will be an advantage
  • Communication skills for effective presentations, pitches and conversions
  • Ability to quickly identify problems and solutions leveraging cash product propositions, business drivers, policies, customer needs and market trends
  • Ability to create longer term, positive trust and advisory based relationships will all the customers in the portfolio.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and vision for future planning and growth
  • Open-mindedness to evaluate various alternative solutions to customer needs
  • In-depth knowledge of regulations, market practices and bank operations
