Team/Function Overview

The Programme Team is globally spread, and part of the EMEA Change & support function department, with staff located in Edinburgh, Warsaw, and Dublin.

The Edinburgh function consists of team of Business Analysts, Project Managers, and support SME's responsible for the delivery of analysis and change across multiple client change programmes.

Role / Position Overview

You will work across our change portfolio in the Fund Accounting Change Team. The role will look at a variety of internal and external change initiatives

This role will sit in the change & support team, reporting to the Senior Programme Manager, delivering mostly internal Fund Accounting Strategic Change Programmes, ranging from Platform Upgrades to Internal Simplification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership and accountability of full analysis lifecycle on a complex internal change programme
• Development and validation of Business Analysis plans
• Work closely with clients, vendors and Citi project teams and business areas to define accurate and complete requirements which are fully documented, with common understanding between the client and Citi
• Use of process modelling practices and techniques to clearly document and communicate analyse findings
• Support the Change Delivery team to ensure all projects are implemented to time and budget and with no impact to BAU
• Regular progress reporting to the Project Manager
• Ensure all requirements are clearly captured and understood to inform change scope and support test execution and planning.
• Interact with Citi BAU teams and client analysts to ensure requirements are met and Operations are ready for new processes
• Support the client and operations team's post-implementation with defect management and triage, operating between the various project and business teams to clearly articulate defect root cause and mitigation plan.

Criteria/Qualifications

• Ideally the candidate would have experience in the Financial Services sector, preferably in the securities services / fund accounting industry
• Proven Business Analyst experience following industry standard practices
• Experience of working on multiple projects and delivering to demanding deadlines.
• Experience of working on internal platform change projects.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Proven Project Management experience / capability
• Experience of working on multiple projects and delivering to demanding deadlines.
• Experience of fund accounting (desirable)
• Experience in working on business change projects spanning across multiple business areas, teams, and functions
• Solid understanding of project management methodology

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties
• Excellent presentational skills
• Passion for addressing problems by finding solutions with positive attitude to change
• Knowledge of Fund Accounting platforms (preferred)
• Understanding of end-to-end Fund Accounting operating models (preferred)
• Change Management skillset
