The Role As a qualified Accountant, you already possess a strong professional work ethic, well developed supervisory skills and excellent technical skills (ideally with CA / CPA status or working towards). We expect you will also be familiar with the types of duties expected in this level of role. For example: Auditing NFPs (large & small) and local government/councils and health services Auditing complex self-managed superannuation funds Auditing complex VOs Auditing listed public companies Attending, participating in, or presenting training Assisting or supervising other team members work What's In It For You What you will not be familiar with is what you gain from taking your skills and knowledge to this fantastic employer: Proven development and progression programs Catering for flexible working arrangements In-house corporate massage program for staff Ergonomic workstation set-up Active company health initiatives A vibrant Subiaco office location close to transport and cycleways The opportunity to personally mentor bright and enthusiastic team members Salary 75,000 - 90,000 plus superannuation What you will need To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate several qualities including: 5 years' minimum experience in a similar role A Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent) Ideally your CA / CPA qualifications already completed Knowledge of contemporary accounting and business concepts (to assist with auditing of financial information) Well-developed communication skills that leave stakeholders clear on your advice, information and work papers An ability to complete your scopes of work on time and on budget - which also translates to effective billing of your time The ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining attention to detail A mature attitude with the ability to work autonomously and the flexibility to be able to work from home if necessary Please note: Only candidates with Australian unrestricted working rights can be considered for this position. You'll need the ability to travel to client sites when required and the ability to meet government directions requiring COVID-19 proof of vaccination or medical exemptions that this will require.
