Consumer Additions have partnered with a Premium Restaurant Group who are looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team in London. They're searching for someone who has commercial experience in both the AP and AR functions and is eager to advance their career and expand their knowledge of Management Accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly trading / KPI reports assisting in the production of management accounts
- Take responsibility for utility accounting, including supplier reconciliation accounts.
- Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a regular basis and that all accounts are up to date.
- Assisting with bank reconciliation when necessary
- Assisting with the quarterly and rolling monthly forecasting.
- Provide accounting support by coordinating with the Operations and Support Office.
- To assist the CFO with any additional accounting or analytical work as needed.
Requirements:
- Be a part or fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Have at least a year's commercial experience in either the AP or AR functions.
- Excellent communication skills - having the confidence and ability to discuss numbers with either the CFO.
- Have an excellent grasp of Excel.
- Demonstrate a proactive, "can-do" mindset.
- Organizing and planning one's own workload, as well as the ability to multitask is important
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Accurate and detail-oriented
- Excel and Microsoft packages are among your IT capabilities.
- Multi-site expertise in either Hospitality or Retail would be an advantage.
