The job: Accounts Payable Team Leader (Hybrid Working)
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced team leader to join us in our established Accounts Payable team. Sitting as part of the Global Business Services Finance team based in the Paisley Center of Excellence, the role holder will be expected to deliver a high-quality finance service to internal business partners, supporting an annual through put of circa 200,000 invoices.
This role supports the EMEA region across multiple ERPs and has a breadth of internal and external stakeholders.
The role holder will have responsibility for working closely with the AP Manager to drive operational delivery in the AP team.

What will you do?
- Leadership responsibility for Process team with a span of control of 5 FTEs
- Responsibility for overseeing the delivery of departmental and operational metrics
- Performance management, coaching and resource optimization
- Responsible for the completion and accurate maintenance of all process documentation
- Lead daily structured team meetings
- Targeted staff development
- Business partner with other Finance teams to deliver end to end finance support to designated business
- Drive and lead continuous improvement initiatives within area of responsibility
Who we are looking for:
- Requires considerable experience in a high performing, high volume, results driven environment
- Experience in an international accounting environment
- Profound knowledge of accounts payable processes and process improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication skills (fluency in written and oral English), a second language (Nordics or German would be advantageous but not essential)
- SAP or JDE Oracle advantageous but not essential
