Financial Analyst, GFS Finance, Basildon

Role Purpose

Key team member of the GFS Finance Team:
  • Commitment to upholding Fiserv's values: embracing innovation, collaboration and change, demonstrating vigilance, ethics and integrity. Working hard and enjoying the journey and being competitive in all the right ways
  • Supporting the timely and accurate production and reporting of actual, budget and forecast results, KPI's. Producing good variance analysis focused on the 'why,' not just the 'what'.


Deliverables and Dimensions

Supporting the Senior Finance Manager in the production of timely and accurate financial results and the reporting thereof, not limited to the below responsibilities.
  • Revenue accruals preparation, revenue recognition, revenue assurance
  • Assist in preparation of all relevant revenue reconciliations, with supporting documentation
  • Preparing reviewing accounting entries for Shared Service Centre
  • Maintaining forecast and budget models
  • Preparation and distribution of client reports, Business Partnering
  • Responding to queries from the business
  • Ensuring Billing function is in line with policy and guidelines especially maintaining auditable backups
  • Minimum processing fee calculations, and responsibility for the price increase process in partnership with the client management teams
  • Rebate calculations
  • Responsible for the client billing data
  • Responsibility of the billing controls and processes and responses for audit responses.
  • Work with leads to Review customer contracts Ensure accurate setup of billing schedules and invoicing. Calculate the correct revenue recognition for complex customer contracts. Collaborate with Sales and Legal teams to expedite contract approvals and meet approval SLA's.
  • Build strong relationships with other Finance members and Accounting and shared services
  • Ensure the highest standard of financial rigour is maintained within all areas of responsibility

  • Part qualified Accountant/or interest in studying towards an accounting qualification
  • Good GCSE grades A-C including Maths & English


Essential Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a multi-group operation
  • Excel user (example: pivot tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP), Microsoft PowerPoint
