Fire & Risk Services Finance and Systems Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fire and Risk Services Finance and Systems Administrator to join our busy Fire and Risk Services department. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Fire and Risk Service Team across a varied range of functions including finance/accounts, customer relationship management monitoring, maintaining effective records and liaison with clients. You will be joining an established team in a busy department which supports our consultants across a wide range of project types. Full training will be given on all systems.

Key Accountabilities

• Set up client accounts on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
• Complete client/supplier forms, send relevant H&S information and insurance certificates
• Liaise with clients and ensure Purchase Orders are received
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of client details
• Raising invoices
• Complete (sign off/close) jobs within the CRM system
• Maintain a pipeline schedule for planned and prospective contracts
• Maintain information in relation to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and produce reports
• Manage and maintain accreditations to industry bodies

Experience

• Accounts/finance experience (preferably Xero)
• Experience of a busy and varied administrative workload
• Good organisational, planning, and monitoring skills
• Database and IT skills and accurate data input
• Good telephone manner
• Effective record keeping
• Experience of bespoke CMS and workflow management systems

Qualifications

• 5 or more GCSEs at Grade C or above including English and Maths

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £20,000.00- £24,000.00 per year depending on experience

Based at the Fire Service College in Morton in Marsh the Fire Protection Association (FPA) is UK's national fire safety organisation. The FPA is a not-for profit organisation which works to identify the dangers of fire and help our clients reduce any fire-related risks.
