We have big ambitions, and we are looking for someone exceptional for our fast-growing Corporate Finance Department who will match those ambitions. We want our new colleague to have unlimited career ambitions of their own. That means you must possess a high degree of commercial awareness and that key attention to detail that our firm is renowned for. You will already have experience in all aspects of Corporate Finance from mergers and acquisitions, transaction advisory services, valuations and raising capital and business planning and you are now ready to play in a higher division.

We employ 90 plus people based in our two offices in Donnybrook, Dublin 4 and the Capel Buildings in Dublin’s city centre. Our new colleague will join a team of 9 and work with a wide variety of clients on an extensive range of projects from mergers and acquisitions to valuations to business planning and raising bank finance.

 The role will include the following.

  • A senior point of contact and lead in managing relationships and engagement with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proactively review, analyse and provide advice to our clients on their financial and strategic direction.
  • Carry out Pre and Post contract financial due diligence and financial reviews.
  • Prepare and assist with valuation reports.
  • Manage M&A growth strategy for our national and international clients.
  • Prepare business plans and integrated financial projections.
  • Fundraising - understanding banking facility agreements and overview of the various lenders and funding options available in the Irish market.
  • Financial modelling & report writing Advise on debt and equity raising.
  • Assist with sale or purchase mandates including preparation of information memoranda, management of virtual data rooms etc.
  • Prepare decision making papers for presentation to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the structuring of deals.
  • Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Manage and review output from all junior team members
  • Provide leadership and support to members of the team.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A qualified accountant in ACA / ACCA / CFA qualified or equivalent with prior experience in Corporate Finance with a curious mind, can do attitude and strong commercial acumen
  • 4 years+ PQE 
  • Previous experience working on projects and preparing reports for Transaction Services / M&A / Due Diligence an advantage.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and excited about working in a client-facing role within a dynamic team. Excellent accounting and commercial analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership skills to encourage and mentor junior members in the team.
  • A stickler for detail. Great interpersonal skills with all stakeholders.
  • Previous experience managing assignments from the planning, preparation and reviewing.
  • Excellent MS Word & Excel skills essential.
  • Advanced Financial Modelling experience would be advantageous
