Finance Assistant (Hybrid)

I am currently recruiting a Finance Assistant for a graduate position at a large property company based in West London. This is a permanent role with hybrid working and a study support package.

Description

This is a training and development role. The exposure that this role will grant is below, although the successful candidate will not be expected to do all of this at the beginning.

Administration and accounting for daily bank activity and weekly cash reporting

Administration and processing of Council Tax payments, refunds, queries and reconciliations

Processing payment requisitions and corresponding ledger accounting

Administration over payment backup and journal posting in accordance with Group accounting policies

Preparing sales invoices and corresponding ledger accounting

Maintaining and reconciling bank statements

Maintain digital filing system e.g. bank statements, invoices and other support

To perform designated routine month end processes and accounting

Ensure the accuracy and consistency of regular in-month journals

Perform month end accounting, reconciliations and journal entries in accordance with the month end timetable

To reconcile, record and report data

Produce month end reconciliations

Assist in preparation of month end reporting

Assist in the purchase ledger processing function

Develop an effective working relationship with all departments and relevant third parties to improve the flow of information to improve the flow of information

Ensure the accuracy and consistency of all overhead coding

Backup for processing queries associated with utility companies

Backup for monthly management account routines

Profile

The successful candidate must:

Be a self starter with a desire to learn

Financial work experience is a massive plus

Job Offer

The successful candidate will receive between £25,000 and £30,000 depending on experience. They also have a strong study support package.
