Senior Business Analyst (Costing)

Job Description

General Description:

The role will be reporting to the Operation Finance leader in Asia Pacific to provide the following support:

• Provide financial analysis and support plants with costing matter such as transfer pricing preparations, determine standard cost and investigate variances with actual costs, estimate product costing for existing and new products
• Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc
• Conduct audits on financial processes and transactions,
• Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs,
• Works on a wide variety of plant operations processes/projects to meet overall profit/business plans for the plants across Asia Pacific.
• Support the financial reporting/analysis, planning, forecasting, systems/process development and/or improvement.
• Work and collaborate with cross functions teams and plant controllers across the Asia Pacific plants.
• Identifies issues and proactively makes recommendations supported by financial analysis findings/outcome.
• Interacts with management of all levels.
• May lead projects.
• Be able to work in plant occasionally located in Puchong.

Education/Experience:

•            Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance

•            MBA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA or other evidence of technical competence preferred.

•            Min 6-8 years applicable experience in costing and manufacturing accounting for manufacturing industry.

•            Proficient in SAP Finance module, Excel.
