About the role
As a Financial Analyst will be responsible for interpreting financial concepts for financial analysis. This role will provide reports to and support business units with financial and costing advice. The employee will act as a liaison with key company personnel and auditors to ensure that financial policies are implemented effectively.
Key responsibilities:
* Providing periodical consolidated financial and management reports and forecasts
* Preparing variance and performance analyses versus Budget and Forecast
* Preparing supplementary management reports
* Producing and interpreting Dashboards and Analytics for various functions
* Assist in preparing Cost/Pricing for Customer proposals
* Reconciling data from disparate systems
Key experience and qualifications
* A Bachelor's Degree or ACCA Level II
* Minimum of 3 years related experience
* In-depth knowledge of financial theories, principles and concepts, including IFRS
* Experience with working on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
Key attributes
* Ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise assignments.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability identify issues.
* Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
* Ability to work independently or with little instruction on routine and new assignments.
* Proficient MS Office Suite.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
