Work activities

The Regional Compliance Coordinator promotes compliance with the security strategies and policies. In addition he/she supports the Local Security Officers and the local management in the best practices implementation of compliance. The RCO has a close relationship and affinity with the business operations and client requirements. This puts the RCO in the ideal position to make recommendations on adaptations of the policies and strategies and improvements on control of the global environment. Tasks range from supporting Local Security Officers to compliance reporting activities

Goals

• Drive and monitor audits of the company according to the audit program and procedure
• Follow up of planning of each audit with local security officers and Regional IT Teams
• Conduct analysis, recommendation of the audit plan and ensure that audit plan has been dispatched all the local security officers
• Interfacing between auditors and the local security officers. Act as a facilitator of audits
• Ensure that conclusions of the audit are understood by the local security officers by arranging periodic meetings and workshops
• Manage and monitor nonconformities
• Ensure that nonconformities are correctly entered into the system and ensure relevant persons are notified on occurrence of nonconformance
• Promote opportunities for Improvement within the region
• Lead/coordinate efforts to develop and improve process changes to enhance response procedures Subject
• Matter Expert on ISO27001, ISO22301, ISO9001, ISAE3402

KNOWLEDGE & TYPICAL EXPERIENCE

• Will generate ideas for improvement based on past experience
• Will keep up to date with business trends/ changes in law that will impact their role
• Is aware of client contracts and what is W.I.P./ 'out of scope'
• Identifies and promotes opportunities to share knowledge
• Strives for high standards of delivery to clients
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Windows 7 and up
• Knowledge of networking, network equipment, firewalls and IDS systems, Network Security alert monitoring and triage
• Intermediate to advanced level of understanding regarding computer security concepts including Identity & Access Management, Network Security, Application Security, and Incident Management
• Understands the principles of Information Security Risk Management such as those described in ISO27001, ISO22301, ISO9001, ISAE3402

Social skill requirements

• Communication at a non-technical level
• Good knowledge of the English language both verbally and written
• Comfortable in team-work, but can also work independently

General skill requirements

• Good organizational skills
