Finance Administrator (Legal Billing)

This role is to provide assistance and support to the daily and routine processes of the firm's unions and external billing function. The position will be varied, and requires motivation and the ability to adapt.

Description

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring that all current rules are applied and complied with in all work undertaken, both individually and as a team
• Effectively implement all processes and procedures.
• Take full ownership of allocated unions and maintain smooth data-flow of information
• Assisting with the firm's bill production through the monthly interim
• Assisting with administration of disbursement funding statements efficiently and accurately
• Processing and allocating payments and receipts of bills on a daily basis
• Reconciling and controlling own workload and ensuring accuracy and quality levels are adhered to

Profile

Essential:

• Minimum 2 years' experience of working in a similar role within a finance team
• Organisation skills and excellent time-management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to take on delegated tasks
• IT-literate
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Capable of processing large volumes of transactions
• Attention to detail
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word/Outlook)
• Professionalism
• Highly flexible

Desired:

• Experience working in a law firm
• Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
