The Finance Manager will be responsible for supporting the International finance team, with financial reporting and accounting, compliance and regulatory reporting, ensuring internal controls and risk management is adhered to along with corporate finance and treasury support for the group's portfolio across Europe.

Description

The Finance Manager's main responsibilities include:

Financial Reporting and Accounting

  • Partner with various stakeholders within and outside finance functions located in Europe and Singapore to ensure timely and speedy delivery of financial accounts
  • Review monthly local reporting packs with supporting schedules, bank reconciliation, statutory financial statements
  • Preparation of year end audit schedules and year-end reporting pack
  • Review management fee and charges between the management company and PropCos
  • Review and authorize procurements and payments
  • Review cashflow forecasts and interbank fund transfers
  • Manage processes for financial forecasting and budgets

Compliance and Regulatory Reporting

  • Liaise with external auditors for statutory audits
  • Prepare/review/submit regulatory filings such as statutory accounts, VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, Construction Industry Scheme and any other local regulatory taxes
  • Monitor the development of relevant tax laws and prepare appropriate responses to tax changes
  • Implement compliance monitoring to ensure the compliance with the Singapore REITs, TRUST and Stock Exchange regulations

Internal Control and Risk Management

  • Drive implementation of policies and procedures
  • Coordinate internal and external audit and review internal and external audit findings
  • Provide recommendations and supervisions on process improvement to address control deficiency or enhancements discovered during internal or external audits

Corporate Finance and Treasury

  • Oversee finance facilities and reporting to lenders
  • Review and address any Transfer Pricing and other regulatory matters

Profile

The ideal Finance Manager should have:

  • Degree or professional qualification e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in audit/accounting environment
  • Experience in PanEuropean real estate sector
  • Knowledge of real estate accounting softwares such as Yardi or MRI/Horizon
