Management Accountant

Working for a reputable business in the North West you will be responsible for running budget holder meetings as well as the monthly Management Accounts for a Group of companies.

Description

As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

• To assist the Finance Business Partner with business performance and monitor income and expenditure budgets, investigate variance and produce budgetary control comments
• Actively prepare revenue and income budgets towards annual budget setting processes
• Mentor and coach the team members to develop their skills with a focus on analysis and performance
• Coordinating multiple cost departments including grants, funding and income
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, maintain the fixed asset register and year end audit preparations

Profile

To be successful as the Management Accountant you will have:

• ACCA/ CIMA Part Qualified or QBE
• Independently produced the full set of management accountant
• Experience of coordinating multiple cost centres
• Excellent communicator and ability to run budget holder meetings independently
• Confident in assessing and analysing complex data and other financial information
