The Accounting Intern is responsible for assisting with accounting related functions including accounts payable, miscellaneous accounts receivable, SOX, and Internal Control Checklist. The Accounting Intern is responsible for maintaining logs, reports, and shared files as needed/requested. The Accounting Intern may assist with audits both internal and external as needs arise and participate in the annual physical hospital-wide physical inventory process. Attendance, timeliness, and preparedness to perform job functions are essential to this position.
