A household name automotive company is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner. Reporting to the Financial Controller COO Directorate, this role involves elements of both capex and opex accounting, financial planning, management accounting and business partnering.

In order to succeed in this role:
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with experience gained in similar working environment
  • Ideally with experience of working in IT / Capital investment finance areas
  • Highly numerate with good communication skills
  • Team player that can work on own initiative
  • Strong excel modelling skills, with a drive to automate / systemise processes

Responsibilities will include but aren't limited to:
  • Working with COO businesses with financial processes including but not limited to forecasting / budgeting, decision support, procurement purchase to pay
  • Adhoc analysis of project spend against targets and providing additional insightful analysis, providing decision support for project managers from an accounting perspective
  • Supporting COO finance team with month-end management accounting for COO Function
  • Miscellaneous accounting duties such as upload of budget and forecast data to BPC, month end processes and financial modelling, balance sheet reconciliations
