In order to succeed in this role:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with experience gained in similar working environment
- Ideally with experience of working in IT / Capital investment finance areas
- Highly numerate with good communication skills
- Team player that can work on own initiative
- Strong excel modelling skills, with a drive to automate / systemise processes
Responsibilities will include but aren't limited to:
- Working with COO businesses with financial processes including but not limited to forecasting / budgeting, decision support, procurement purchase to pay
- Adhoc analysis of project spend against targets and providing additional insightful analysis, providing decision support for project managers from an accounting perspective
- Supporting COO finance team with month-end management accounting for COO Function
- Miscellaneous accounting duties such as upload of budget and forecast data to BPC, month end processes and financial modelling, balance sheet reconciliations
