Marks Sattin is working exclusively with a growing food manufacturer who supply well known retailers including all grocery accounts. Having grown massively over the last few years making a number of acquisitions, they are now looking to grow and develop their high performing team.
As Finance Manager you will directly manage 2 people with a dotted line to the rest of the team. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will oversee Accounts Payable and Credit Control, managing daily cashflow and forecasting.

To be considered for this opportunity you must be a Qualified Accountant with post qualified experience ideally in the FMCG sector. People management experience preferred.

Additional responsibilities include:
- Management of payroll postings and reconciliations
- Ensure robust control over all areas of the balance sheet through monthly review of reconciliations
- Managing the provision of information for the annual audit and tax processes
- Finalising the implementation of document imaging systems on purchase ledger
- Be responsible for robust review of VAT returns
- Implementing a comprehensive financial control manual
- Support for any ad hoc analysis required by the Business
