Description
Duties and responsibilities:
As part of managing our Finance team, this role coordinates the whole Finance function including
Financial Planning & Analysis, Account Payable, Account Receivable, as well as handling company
audits and taxes.
General Head/Manager function
• People management: Responsible for hiring, mentoring, motivate & training the Finance
team. Ensure team complies with Finance policy & procedures
• Develop new practices and processes to facilitate automation and efficiency
• Ensure delivery quality in terms of accuracy and completeness.
• Manage proper cost allocation and ensure financial KPI reporting accuracy
• Analyse and report the outcome such as P&L to identify opportunities to reduce expenses
and increase profitability and also to identify areas for cost improvement.
• Prepare Finance monthly forecast, analysis, and financial report for the Management and
Board
• To have a close relationship with the auditor and play an important role in the smooth
preparation and audit of the annual report and financial statements.
Tax
• Responsible for the company's tax compliance, tax planning, and strategy.
• Oversee and plan to create the tax roadmap for local & cross border business
• Involve in the completion of local and international tax returns including all related analysis
and support.
• Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place over accounting for taxes.
AR
• Oversee the AR reconciliation report and work closely on the improvement process
• Oversee invoice and account statement preparations
• Liaise with client/debtor for outstanding debts
• Support AR Audit request
AP
• Oversee the team that process month-end activities such as AP closing, clearing, reporting,
bookkeeping reconciliation.
• Oversee the expense management
• Vendor management: Respond to (Vendor/Third Party) inquiries, vendor data maintenance,
compile vendor payment records
• Manage and Oversee payment preparation and distributions.
• Ensure Approved invoices are paid within credit term
• Review bank reconciliation for all transactions for an up to date data

Requirements:
• Degree in Finance / Accounting, ACCA, CPA, CMA
• Exposure to local & international corporate tax SST / GST & withholding matters - SEA/APAC
• Ability to represent the company to interact with Third-Party Vendor and relevant Authorities
• Minimum 2 years of managing the Finance team, especially in the e-commerce industry.
• Preferably candidate with SQL Accounting Software experience and has experience in e-commerce and start tup environment.
• Adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced organizational culture.
• Must have a demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with motivational skills
• High analytical, decision-making, and management skills
• Ability to develop lasting professional relationships with stakeholder
• Strong time management skills
