Financial Controller - 12 month fixed term contract

Your new companyHays Senior Finance is partnering with a leading European organisation to recruit a Financial Controller to lead the finance function for their UK business. The role is offered as a fixed term contract for 12 months.Your new roleAs a member of the management team, the Financial Controller will be responsible for supporting the UK strategy to drive the success of the division. You'll be tasked with coordinating, developing, and finalising the 2023 business plan and budget to ensure business growth. Your role will be incredibly varied and will also involve the management of the finance team, manging the reporting for the division and group, leading the statutory audit, overseeing financial controls across the whole business, and involvement in acquisition activity.What you'll need to succeedThe Financial Controller will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with great leadership skills and post qualification experience gained in a large business. You'll have the proven ability to influence strategic decisions as well as excellent communication and relationship management skills.
