A well-known and growing MGA who are part of a prestigious insurance group, are currently looking for a Compliance Manager (First Line) to look after the front end, working in tandem with the Group Level team you'll be implementing both internal and Group Level requirements to ensure best practice is followed across the business.
You'll be working with the senior management team at this MGA as well as the wider Group's central Compliance function to ensure the right things are in the right places and where things can be improved suggestions are made accordingly.

You'll be working with the senior management team at this MGA as well as the wider Group's central Compliance function to ensure the right things are in the right places and where things can be improved suggestions are made accordingly.
The day to day role:-
- Handle complaints including record keeping, insurer liaison, writing letters, root cause analysis and reporting.
- Handle breaches including record keeping, root cause analysis and reporting.
- Review and update the risk register in accordance with the company's senior management.
- Oversight of internal peer review and records management processes to ensure reviews are allocated, completed and that Quality Assurance reviews are conducted.
- Review new insurer TOBAs and maintain insurer TOBA register
- Maintain the company's internal compliance procedures and registers
- Oversight of data transfers, data protection breaches and subject access requests.
- Act as internal referral point for compliance queries.

About you:
- You'll ideally have 5+ years within a compliance role within the UK general Insurance market, ideally at an insurer, MGA or Broker who write business under a DA
- Exposure to Broking/Underwriting compliance issues
- Be qualified to Cert CII or above (desirable)
- A strong skill set that includes high level Communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical and IT skills coupled with the ability to influence decisions via collaboration.
