Your roleWe are looking for a high calibre individual to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients within the Propel business. Similar experience of supporting clients within a practice is preferred but not essential as we are looking for somebody with the potential to progress within the Deloitte business. You will be an excellent communicator, a real team player, and thrive upon the challenge of working as a trusted advisor to your client portfolio.
Supported by a team of Accounts Assistants, your duties will include:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Add insight and provide advice to a diverse portfolio of clients
- Take ownership of client delivery, including but not limited to management accounts, VAT returns, statutory accounts, personal and corporation tax compliance
- Mange client expectations and meet deadlines
- Manage and continually coach junior staff allocating work as appropriate
- Any other ad hoc work required as per business needs

Your professional experience
- Qualified accountant with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to develop strong working relationships across all levels of business
- You will be inquisitive with a pro-active approach to problem solving and willingness to deliver innovative solutions
- Strong technical knowledge covering all aspects of management and financial accounts preparation with superb attention to detail
- Ideally a keen interest in technology and innovation with a working knowledge of key accounting software such as Xero and Quickbooks or other cloud based systems
- Experience of leading a team whilst being responsible for your own tasks
- A passion for managing and developing your team
