Responsibilities • Leading the product costing process, including signing off quarterly vendor pricing updates, providing detailed cost calculations for new products (from new product development to launch) and performing the annual standard cost recalculation process• Preparation of supply chain and inventory cost analysis/standard reporting on a monthly basis. Measuring performance against key business metrics and highlighting areas for improvement• Working closely with our Operations/Supply Chain team on our demand planning process: including full ownership of forecast templates, consolidation and reporting to enable global validation of monthly demand submissions from 10+ worldwide markets • End to end cost centre ownership for some of our IT/Operations/Supply Chain cost centres: covering forecasting, month end close, reporting and business partnering• Owning and supporting the production of annual and quarterly forecasts in line with business planning process, ensuring accurate cost assumptions are made and aligned with business partners• Support the month end close process, including interrogation of costs, clear explanations of variances and reviews with cost centre owners
What skills and qualities do you need?• CIMA/ACCA finalist/newly qualified• Educated to degree level or equivalent• Experience of standard cost accounting an advantage
