GL Accountant/Senior Accountant (FMCG)

Our client is a well established MNC in the FMCG industry headquartered in Singapore and they are looking for a GL Accountant/Senior Accountant to join them.

About the job

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of GL matters for the Asia region which includes monthly financial closing and preparation of monthly financial packages. You will also be ensuring that the financial statements are in full compliance with local statutory requirements and US GAAP in addition to handling audit and tax matters. The ideal candidate is one who is technically strong with regional experience in GL, pleasant and a team player.

Skills and experience required

A recognised degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent with 6 years of relevant working experience. Candidates with strong understanding of Singapore GST especially on import and export will be advantageous.
