Job Description

GFS General Ledger team supports North America, United Kingdom and Spanish LATAM across all segments and all business units, for accounting activities to aid decision making for the regional leaders and guarantee financial information is delivered with the highest quality standards in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following key duties and responsibilities:
  • Supporting Senior Analyst to prepare basic monthly reconciliations for Accounts Receivables, Trade Payables, etc.
  • Support Senior analyst to prepare input reporting used to create metrics for JV portal processing.
  • Processing low complexity journal entries during MEC.
  • Create and maintain desktop procedure documents for routine processes for accounting activities.

Qualifications
  • Basic accounting and/or finance knowledge.
  • Positive attitude, strong collaborative style and work ethic with passion for learning in a flexible and changing environment
  • Enthusiastic for learning about financial roles and being part of the Team.
  • Good academic performance.
  • Strong reading and written communication skills in English.
  • Medium/Advanced English speaking
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and solve problems in a team environment
  • Good Excel skill and Word management skills. Knows how to use the tools and excel formulas
