My client is a global FMCG business who have gone from strength to strength in recent years and are now looking to appoint a site controller in a new role for the business.

There is a great opportunity to join an international FMCG business who are based in Scunthorpe. The Group is very acquisitive in nature and this role will naturally evolve and grow on the back of this. Description

  • Monitor the performance of the site to enable tactical and strategic decisions to be made
  • Produce weekly P&L reporting with detailed analysis as required by Commercial and Industrial teams
  • Produce monthly information to assist in the production of P&L, complete margin process and detailed analysis for gross margin & overhead variances
  • Support the Commercial and Development teams in costing new and existing products
  • Conduct departmental cost centre reviews, ensuring accurate accruals are posted whilst maintaining tight cost control
  • Complete annual budget for cost of sales and overheads, completing all group templates and presentations required
  • Continually review and challenge internal controls and recommend any changes
  • Capex management and liaison. Return on investment tracking is of particular importance
  • Carry out any other reasonable requests as required by management
  • Profile

  • Qualified or Qualified by Experience
  • Experience within manufacturing is essential (Food manufacturing desirable)
  • Strong experience of Business Partnering and building key relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - especially Excel, where macro coding level is essential.
