Client Details
A flourishing Petworth organisation are seeking a Finance Manager on a fixed term contract basis to cover a maternity leave.
Description
As Finance Manager you will be responsible for:
- Running daily financial accounting efficiently in order to maintain cash flow and great relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and customers.
- Partake in ongoing costing reviews and analysis to ensure profitability of the manufacturing process and end product.
- Production of management accounts with commentary and presentation of key issues to management.
- Responsibility for all accounting duties such as VAT, fixed assets and payroll.
- Working closely with the directors to ensure an effective budget & cash flow process with regular reviews and variance analysis/reporting.
- Developing accounting systems and processes to improve business efficiency.
- Responsible for ensuring statutory compliance with regulatory bodies including Companies House and HMRC
- Line managing 3 Accounts Assistants.
- Managing audits.
Profile
- An accomplished SME accountant with a previous experience as finance manager with a manufacturing or industrial business.
- The ability to communicate accounting principles/ideas to non-finance colleagues.
- AAT qualified accountant or a part-qualified ACCA/CIMA person.
- Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week
- Proficient in the use of Sage 50 and ERP software.
