My client in Basingstoke is on the look out for a Purchase Ledger Officer on a long term temporary assignment. If you are immediately available and willing to travel to Basingstoke 2 days a week then this is a great opportunity!

Description

  • Managing and supporting on outlook inboxes
  • Monthly submission of payment certificates to subcontractors
  • General team, office and reception support duties
  • Checking Subcontractor statements and actioning payments where can
  • Attend departmental meetings as required
  • Supporting with payment runs (on request)
  • Actioning all Technical and land invoices and actioning for payment when submitted through inbox

Profile

  • 3 GCSE's or equivalent qualifications including Maths and English
  • Experience working in a commercial business environment
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent analytical skills and organisation
  • Strong mathematical and IT ability
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work to high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent communications skills
  • A good communicator/listener
  • Good team working skills
