Key responsibilities

  • Delivery:
  1. Develop Mapping Documents and Functional Specifications
  2. Gather the business requirements from customers and interpret those to functional document and detailed business rules document
  3. Work in a structured and logical way with a high degree of accuracy
  4. Provide inputs to Test Strategy documents
  5. Follow-up acceptance testing in liaison with business users
  6. Create and review specifications and test documentation
  7. Liaise and Clarify doubts with Clients as well as internal development, business and systems support teams
  8. Participate in Effort Estimation, Work scheduling process with Leads/Managers
  9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of domain
  10. Participate with Leads best practices, systems, and methodology
  • Responsibility & accountability
  1. Meeting with various external and internal stakeholders to understand the scope of projects
  2. Working closely with Clients, development and project support teams
  3. Identifying, understanding, verifying and confirming business requirements
  4. Help in Work Planning and Test strategy based on project requirements
  5. Working on multiple projects at one time
  6. Ensure Cross Functional Coordination, effective utilization of resources, proactive visualization and management of risks and issues
  7. Ensure traceability between requirements, functional specifications
  8. Clarify doubts from Dev and Tech team on functionality and documentation
  9. Provide Daily / Weekly update reports on progress of work
  10. Maintain a accurate project plan and current status in centralised project administration tools

  3. Investigates, evaluates and integrates information to develop solutions.
  4. Uses his/her knowledge and experience to anticipate and evaluate problems and potential obstacles.
  5. Makes timely and sound decisions based on a broad view of the information available, the internal/external situation and a considered analysis of the balance of risk and reward.

Key requirements

  1. At least 4+ years related work experience in working on multiple projects as a BA or similar role
  2. Domain experience in Payroll / HR / Accounting / Finance is a must
  3. Must have done File / Field level mapping of data input and output
  4. Should know all common business scenarios around interfacing Payroll data
  5. Intermediate level understanding of ERP HR systems like SAP HCM, Workday etc.
  6. Experience on working with HCM Systems like Workday will be an added advantage
  7. Basic SQL or Database related knowledge
  8. Must have experience in defining Test Scenarios
  9. Good to have working knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server
  10. Self-starter, able to work with little supervision
  11. Able to focus on the big picture and on details
  12. Ability to take initiative and follow through- with passion for high quality work, drive to get things done etc.

  1. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with excellent interpersonal skills.
  2. Excellent English written, verbal communication skills.
  3. Excellent Presentation and articulation skills.
  4. Highly self-motivated and directed.
  5. Disciplined work approach - keen attention to detail.
  6. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  7. Comfortable working in an environment with significant change and ambiguity.

Ideally would also

  1. Besides English, speak an additional language like Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese.
  2. Have a Workday certification
