Job Purpose

The Junior Accountant will support our international clients in their establishment and development in France, under the supervision of one of our experts - Supervisors.

You will be able to see how accounting in different industries functions A-Z, and will be supported for growth by more senior members of the team and the TMF Business Academy curriculum in a motivating work environment with lots of flexibility, freedom, and personal responsibility, flat hierarchies with direct contact to management and international exchange.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting maintenance and/or revision
• Monitoring of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank, lettering, payroll, entries
• Closing including cut-offs
• Preparation of tax returns
• Monthly and annual closing transactions; preparation of annual financial statements and of tax packages
• Setting up monthly and quarterly reports

About you

• Professional knowledge of English (B1 level minimum);
• DCG/DSCG Degree, the candidate has followed a university course or business school, a master’s degree or equivalent such as a BTS and a successful professional experience in , or a comparable level achieved through exposure and experience;
• At least 1 or 2 years’ experience in outsourcing firms or multinational;
• Autonomy, anticipation, responsiveness, timeliness, and team spirit
• Knowledge of at least one accounting software: SAGE or ACD Cador is knowledge of Yooz or equivalent, Netsuite, or SAP is a plus.
• Mastery of the IT tool and the Pack office, particularly Excel Having adaptive qualities in a scalable environment and new technologies at the service of our profession will be an asset.
