Job responsibilities

• Liaise and communicate with clients on daily basis to gather information and documents.
• High-level bookeeper/preparer for medium to complex cases and Reviewer for simple complexity portfolio of clients, including preparation/review of journal entries (AR/AR/Bank), closing full set of book/review, preparation/review of financial statements & schedulings, preparation/review of bank/account reconcilation, preparation/review of tax computations and returns, payment support services, and other tailor made management reports/ financial analysis.
• Supervises junior staff and reviews draft deliverables from junior.
• Liaise with auditors (and tax agents).
• Ensure all accounts portfolio assigned are completed on time for reporting purposes
• Monitor and Completes time sheets in an accurate and timely manner. Assists Manager/HOD to implement department workflow process and provide on-job training for junior staffs.
• Performs financial fluctuation analysis for key clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Business with at least 2 years of working experience in the related field or equivalent e.g. Diploma holder in Accountancy or Business with 3 years working experience
• Candidate must possess at least Partial Professional Accounting qualifications (ACCA/CPA)
• Good knowledge of international and local accounting principles and practices and financial reporting
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good Excel skill set & knowledge of cloud accounting system or other accounting system exposure
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good time management and Organisational skills
• Possesses a strong sense of responsibility and positive disposition
• Good command of both spoken and written English
