Plant finance manager

The position will report directly to the Finance Director of Integrated Supply Chain and Engineering and dual reports to Plant General Manager. This incumbent provides advice and counsel to the Plant management team, and also provides business insight and functional guidance to the finance team in Plant.

Client Details

Business partner with plant manager and plant management team to provide strategic and operational guidance in terms of SBU direction.
Provide leadership to the plant finance organization. Build functional capability and excellence by creating a focused, team-oriented and effective group that adds value to company. Participate actively in developing and integrating the strategic aims of the organization.
Work closely with plant manager to provide needed financial counsel and support for decision-making and in-depth financial and operational analysis. Identify key business drivers affecting results. Where appropriate, develop action plans to improve performance.

Description

Lead annual AOP and long range planning activities, and provide accurate & meaningful financial information to the leadership team and provide interpretive, value-added guidance in addition to standard reporting and data compilation required for the operations to achieve its financial objectives.
Ensure that proper processes are in place for the accurate forecasting of standard cost, capital investments and return on investment.
Assume responsibility for improving process efficiency and implementing cost controls/programs within the organization.
Overall site responsibility for maintaining control environment in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley, FICAP, SIC etc.
Coordinate with RTR and PTP team on timely closing, enhance the quality of account reconciliation and relevant statutory issues
Attract, hire, develop and retain an excellent financial team.

Profile

Bachelor degree or above, ACCA or CPA is preferred
10+ years' experience in a multinational manufacturing industry with solid overall finance function knowledge
Must have strong cost accounting background
Have the proven people management skill
Ability to work collaboratively and provide appropriate challenge and insight, often under time pressure
Solid understanding of IT and other business systems (MRP/ERP) in terms of leveraging these systems to enhance functional efficiencies.
Fluency in English is required.
