This MI SAS Analyst role is to be a subject matter expert providing insight and analysis on credit risk to key stakeholders through monitoring and identifying trends. Description

MI SAS Analyst specific responsibilities

  • To carry out "what-if" scenarios, present findings and analyse options and impacts of credit risk decisions.
  • To compile and manipulate large, complex datasets, analyse results and provide actionable recommendations.
  • To gain an excellent understanding of the various sources of performance data, their availability, limitations and strengths.
  • To combine data sources in order to deliver multi-dimensional insight into the contact centre operation.
  • To support the planning team by providing timely, accurate and usable data.
  • In conjunction with the MI Development Analyst and Reporting Analyst, to design a suite of MI reports which provide regular insight into key business drivers.
  • To investigate and comment on MI outcomes, communicating to the wider team and areas impacted.
  • To collate and maintain historical information and to validate the accuracy of data feeds in order to ensure high-quality outputs.
  • To share best practice and expertise with the wider team, building on existing knowledge and experience.
  • To proactively disseminate information received, formally or informally, to ensure appropriate and timely sharing of knowledge across the service.
  • To participate actively in or manage one-off projects relating to the work of the service.
  • To support the Centre Managers, Service Co-ordinators, Team Leaders and Resource Planning team by providing appropriate and timely information and advice to contribute to the smooth running of the Operation.
  • To ensure compliance with all company systems and procedures.
  • To ensure that all team members are cognizant of and follow the procedures for protecting the integrity of data collated.
  • To keep abreast of all relevant MI tools and methods to enhance statistical reporting methodology and results.

Profile

Essential:

  • Extensive experience as an MI and Insight Analyst in a multi-channel contact centre using workforce management software or exposure to credit risk is equally as important
  • Extensive SAS capability
  • Microsoft Access, Excel, VBA, Word and PowerPoint to an advanced standard
  • Strong information and data management skills, with the ability to gather, analyse, interpret, structure and present information effectively, in order to meet the needs of the intended audience.
  • Experience of SAS reporting
  • Extensive experience and competence in MS Excel and Access
  • Experience of using WFM packages to inform decision making
