JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: FINANCE MANAGER
REPORTS TO: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
DEPARTMENT: FINANCE DEPARTMENT
LOCATION: BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
SALARY: COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE
JOB SUMMARY:
The Finance Manager is responsible for performing professional accounting work, including reviewing, analysing and verifying fiscal records and reports, preparing financial and statistical reports, providing information to management regarding accounting practices and procedures, and reconciling general ledger accounts.
Requirements:
* Proven work experience in the accounting field;
* Experience in the construction industry an asset;
* Experience with Advanced Excel Functions
* Experience with Automation of processes
* Experience with managing small teams
* Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures;
* Strong attention to detail and confidentiality;
* Strong analytical, computer and communication skills;
* Knowledge of accounting terminology;
* Experience with accounting systems;
* CPA/ACCA qualifications or equivalent an asset
