Your role
Are you an expert when it comes to performing second-line-of-defense activities? Do you 'think on your feet', balancing commercial objectives with legal, regulatory and ethical considerations? Do you advocate for the importance of operational risks? We're looking for a Stress Testing Specialist to:

• act as a compliance and operational risk control (C&ORC) subject-matter expert across business divisions, supporting them in managing risk and completing stress testing regulatory examinations
• ensure a profound C&ORC framework is in place and kept up-to-date with policies and procedures as well as legal, regulatory and business standards
• deliver independent risk assessment and provide effective challenge to the 1st and 2nd line of defense in relation to consequential risks and the risk frameworks
• provide business management with controls, tools, training, frameworks , information and insights required to manage risk
• prepare pre-workshop materials and post workshop documentation
• review and challenge material risk identification and help manage operational risk loss projections for Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR)
• data management of IHC internal loss events and create reports on a quarterly basis for new operational risk events
• reviewing external events and other metrics to support our idiosyncratic scenario workshops
• enhancing the documentation for all of our CCAR submission materials
• support and minute operational risk workshops for all capital components
• help address any MRAs/MRIAs from the recent Federal Reserve reviews of Operational Risk for CCAR

Your team
You'll be working in the Americas ORC team in Weehawken, NJ. As a Stress Testing Specialist, you'll play an important role in completing the regulatory stress testing requirements prescribed by the Federal Reserve Board.

Your expertise
You have:

• a bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance or economics
• analytic, with the ability to provide practical solutions for minimizing risk
• result-oriented and assertive (you don't shy away from challenging situations)

You are:
• structured, rigorous, analytical and thorough in your approach with the ability to form defensible conclusions from risk assessments
• someone with strong and sound judgement and able to articulate views, assessments and approaches both verbally and in writing precisely, concisely, logically and accurately including with visuals where required
• able to present to and respond effectively to senior internal and external stakeholders
• team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills, able to calmly manage conflict and pressure in a demanding, high-volume environment
• experienced in handling sensitive information with a high degree of discretion
• organized and able to build and manage timelines, project plans and provide status updates to senior management
