Junior Accountant, Corporate Services
The 2021 opening of our office in Vilnius represents a major milestone in our rapid development. By joining our brand-new European Central Operations, you’ll work for an international leader at the heart our client delivery operating model, and service our most prestigious alternative investment clients from across Europe and beyond. As one of our junior accountants, the environment will give you professional freedom and incredible opportunities to partner with and learn from a global network of colleagues.
About the role
As part of a team, you’ll handle the implementation and administration of a portfolio of client holding, financing, intellectual property and real estate companies.
That will see you taking care of day-to-day operations of the companies and responding to client requests, as well as preparing company accounts, statutory financial statements, periodic tax returns and more. You’ll help organise board and shareholders’ meetings too, and take part in developing restructuring plans or other transactions from mergers and acquisitions to spin-offs.
Organised and flexible, you’ll be able to work as a team and independently. Deadlines don’t faze you, and you’ll have real energy, commitment and ambition.
Your strong academic background will ideally include a degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit or Economics. Beyond this, you’ll have up to 2 years’ relevant experience and be working towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification. You should be fluent in English, while knowledge of real estate or private fund equity administration would be a bonus.
Since 2003, we’ve worked hard to become the game-changing, agile minds of the alternative investment scene. That’s why many of the world’s leading asset managers, lenders and asset owners are already Alter Domus clients. But with such a prestigious reputation, there is no resting on our laurels. We’re expanding our global operation to Vilnius, a city that boasts high-profile finance and technology companies, not to mention high-calibre talent. It will help us become even more connected globally and offer impressive opportunities for career development.
We’re large enough to be truly global, yet small and agile enough to work fast. You’ll soon have opportunities to make your mark and we’ll identify future roles that will help you build your career. This “Best of both worlds” is particularly true for our Vilnius centre where you’ll enjoy the excitement of opening a new office, setting the team spirit, launching new projects and taking up international assignments. Meanwhile, our flat structure will give you visibility, and our established structure and experience will provide you with the right environment to unleash your potential.
Monthly Salary: From 1750 Euro Gross
