Overview 

Exciting opportunity to join our client operations team as a supervisor. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic and growing team with responsibility for the daily NAV calculation on our Traditional Fund Accounting Team. You will also have the opportunity to work on projects including, but not limited to, fund launches, liquidations, audit & client reporting.

Preference will be given to a candidate who has performed a similar role & who has experience with Advent Geneva. Full training will be provided regardless.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supervision of our fund accountants in order to meet key daily deliverables
  • Organise and coordinate training to develop junior members of the team and act as a mentor to help them reach their potential
  • Track the daily workload to ensure service level agreements are met
  • Join meetings to discuss issues affecting the team and contribute ideas to improve efficiency
  • Become a trusted point of contact for all mutual team stakeholders
  • Become proficient in all roles and tasks within the team and develop an understanding of how the various roles impact the NAV
  • Help foster a continuous improvement attitude within the team and a strong understanding re: the resolution of issues that we face day to day
  • Help out when needed with our non-nav projects such as audit, distributions, fund launches & liquidations
  • Take part in in-house training courses

Key Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years in fund accounting / administration role
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally & in writing
  • Have working knowledge of financial securities & fund structure types
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
