Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the oversight of AML/KYC processes of the corporate services and capital markets client portfolios, including client on boarding and on-going due diligence processes.
  • Responsible for the oversight of the transaction monitoring processes of the corporate services and capital markets client portfolios
  • Responsible for providing advice to the business on all AML/KYC matters relating to the respective portfolios
  • Responsible for the delivery of training sessions relating to AML/KYC matters to the business units
  • Management of team of 4 people of various levels
  • Supporting the Head of Compliance with the provision of MI information relating to the respective portfolios.
  • Maintenance of the Country Risk Assessment
  • Responsible for the aspects of the Compliance Monitoring Programme relating to AML matters relating to the respective client portfolios
  • Drafting and reviewing policies and procedures relating to AML/KYC matter
  • Contribute AML/KYC driven ongoing projects
  • Involvement in External and Internal audits
  • Supporting the Head of Compliance and Executive Director as required

Key requirements

  • University Degree in law
  • Min. 8-10 years’ experience in financial services (preferable within a PSF), in Luxembourg
  • Experienced/technical knowledge of AML/KYC
  • Good understanding of operational control frameworks
  • Good understanding of regulatory/legal provisions governing trust business company management in Luxembourg and risk aspects
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English with knowledge of other languages in French, German or Spanish preferential
