The Fixed Income Division (FID) is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution.

Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader across a broad range of commodities markets, with expertise in areas including client risk management, financing solutions and investor products.

Global Markets Group is the offshoring arm of Morgan Stanley’s Sales & Trading businesses in India. It covers functions across FID and Institutional Equities Division (IED) ranging from those associated with sales, trading, analytics, strats to risk management.

Primary Responsibilities

FX Sales Management is looking for an Associate level candidate to join its Passive Currency Overlay (PCO) Onboarding team. This dynamic function is responsible for driving and refining an evolving product offering. Clients across Hedge Funds, Asset Managers and Corporations will be engaged around the topic of complex portfolio analytics and strategic FX trading. The candidate would work with stakeholders across divisions and regions, and have direct daily engagement with FX Sales Management.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • OMS / Vendor relationship management
  • Lead data integrations between OMS, Custodians and Client for portfolio consumption
  • Liaise with clients to test completeness of data set
  • Cross Training with Morgan Stanley Fund Services
  • Systematic capture of client and vendor feedback, client execution profiles, and cataloging enhancements
  • Coordinating strategic projects to advance the PCO business

Additional responsibilities would include:

  • Working with Management, Sales, Fund Admin and Developers to drive revenue and service clients
  • Monitoring systems, trading flows, and booking model
  • Identifying, designing and implement new logic to streamlining recurring business problems
  • Coordinating new project campaigns

Required Competencies

Skills:

  • Comfort with FTP and general data integrations
  • Strong quantitative and technical skill
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to efficiently multitask
  • Highly team oriented, commercially driven and overall eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency, and to turn in quality work quickly under strict time constraints
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to build and maintain internal and external relationships
