Permanent Finance Analyst role based in central Bristol (2 days in the office per week), supporting the FBP's in the delivery of financial information.

£27,500 + full CIMA or ACCA study support

Our client is a leading business with an excellent reputation amongst its competitors. Due to team growth, they are now looking to recruit a permanent Finance Analyst to join them

Description

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for the following;

  • Support the various Business Planning processes, including the annual budget and forecast
  • Build and maintain business planning excel models
  • Upload various budgets, forecasts and target data
  • Support the FBPs in the production of management accounts with accompanying commentary explaining variances against budget and forecast.
  • Analyse and interpret large volumes of data to show trends and support business cases, which may include scenario modelling.
  • Work with the FBPs to better understand the variable levels of profit achieved across different service lines, sectors, work types, etc. and provide recommendations to business leads.
  • Production of quarterly financial analysis packs, including profitability and variance analysis to be reviewed with Heads of Sector and FBPs to drive awareness and understanding to help meet strategic growth and profitability targets.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis on key clients and attendance at internal review meetings.
  • Support the FP&A team in the development and improvement of existing management information system. Including the testing of new reports and dashboard enhancements.
  • Pitch and Pricing Support (a) Support Business Partners on major pitches, tenders and contract renewals. (b) This will include the set-up and maintenance of financial models to support and inform pricing decisions.
  • Matter Lifecycle Management (a) Provide support on the implementation and subsequent ongoing use of our Pricing, Budgeting and Matter Management tool to Practice Areas. (b) Become a proficient user of our Pricing, Budgeting and Matter Management tool.

Profile

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role and will be studying towards a professional accountancy qualification
