Job Descriptions
This is a newly created position in view of the business expansion and requires full handling of accounting for a Logistic service company (below 50 pax).
- Working closely with the Financial Controller to provide excellent service to the key stakeholders.
- Responsible for accounting for the business, financial analysis with cost accounting and management reporting.
- Cash flow management and preparing taxation audited reports.
- Manage & supervise a team of accounting staff in the month-end closing process and review all journals, posting & reconciliations to ensure proper compliance with accounting standards.
- Reviewing the current financial operations and proposing process improvement and system automation opportunities to achieve a higher degree of efficiency in processes and reliability of information produced.
- Maintain and formulate improved accounting and internal control systems, policies and procedures to safeguard assets and operations.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, statutory bodies, company secretaries and other consultants for audit, taxation and banking matters.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Accounting or Professional Degree, CIMA will be added advantage
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in the Logistics and transport industry
- Knowledge in using ERP Finance system - Microsoft Navision is an advantage
- Willingness to work the extra mile to meet tight reporting deadlines and adapt expansion
