Description

• Preparation of Group monthly consolidated financial statements for Group Accountant's review, include gather subsidiaries account and perform inter-company reconciliation.
• Responsible for semi-active and dormant companies accounts' monthly closing, year end statutory audits.
• Responsible for semi-active and dormant companies' tax schedule review, tax return review and liaise with tax agent on finalisation of yearly tax computation.
• Coordinate with respective subsidiaries' account to ensure timely closing of account on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
• Liaise with auditor and assist Group Accountant on year end finalisation of Group statutory financial statements.
• Assist Group Accountant on quarterly report preparation, information computation and prepare presentation slides for quarterly meetings.
• Manage and maintain Group Chart of Account and currency.
• Assist Accountant / Group Accountant in implementation of accounting, financial policies and control procedures to ensure compliance with group policies and procedures, statutory and corporate requirements.
• Assist Group Accountant and Corporate team on annual report preparation and review.
• Support Group Accountant on any work flow improvement initiatives, system implementation projects, etc.
• Work with respective subsidiaries' to establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles in accordance to statutory requirement, regulation , SOP and accounting standard.
• Assist Group Accountant on annual budget preparation and subsequent monitoring.
• Any other projects and ad hoc works assign from time to time

Profile

• Hands on experience in consolidation preparation
• Sound knowledge in IFRS, MFRS and Bursa requirement
• Sound knowledge on Malaysia corporate income tax
• At least degree in Accountancy or ACCA
• Member of ACCA or MIA is preferable
• At least 6 years relevant work experience
• Able to multitasking and work in tight deadline environment
• Prior audit experience is preferable
