Finance Manager, IFRS17

About the company
Our client who is a global insurance business, is seeking an exceptional Finance professional to join their IFRS 17 Finance project team, as the Subject Matter Expert in driving the implementation of the new accounting standards for the insurance business.

About the job
You will take on an essential role in supporting the global business with the end-to-end IFRS17 implementation within the Finance function, understanding the current user flow of the business, finance operations, and financial reporting activities. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders (i.e. Actuarial & Finance team, Auditors) in leading, planning, and managing resources to support all aspects of IFRS 17 system performance and enhancements including UAT and validating test results.

Skills and experience required
Degree in Accountancy, or any professional accounting qualifications, with at least 8 years of relevant experience in the insurance business. You should be an expert in the insurance business and finance systems. In order to succeed, you should possess excellent project management, communication and stakeholder management skills.
