The Company

One of the world's largest logistics and materials handling equipment providers is looking for an experienced Business Controller (Financial Analyst/Management Accountant) to join their team. With over 18,000 employees across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and South America, this global company is strongly leading the way within the intralogistics industry. Located in Adelaide's Northern Suburbs, just 20 minutes from the CBD. This is a permanent full-time position, offering Monday-Friday office hours.

The role

The Business Controller (Financial Analyst/Mangement Accountant) will be responsible for managing performance, business cost and account trends whilst focusing on the improvement of profitability. You will be working closely with the Finance and Management team to analyse all aspects of the business whilst directly reporting to the Finance Director.

The main responsibilities and duties involved are, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing reports including evaluation, analysis, and financial control.
  • Conduct annual planning and monthly forecasts as well as monthly and year-end closings
  • Working collaboratively with Business Partners to overcome challenges of monthly and quarterly performance
  • Conduct projects and evaluate processes, systems, and controls.
  • Prepare key documents including business cases
  • Collaborate and work closely with management, marketing sales and logistics teams.
About you

We are looking for an experienced, and highly motivated Business Controller (Financial Analyst/Management Accoutant) to join the close-knit team.

For you to be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Relevant qualifications
  • Sound knowledge of sales and financial controlling
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with key business partners, colleagues, and clients
  • Experience with SAP FICO or SAP Business Warehouse would be ideal but not essential
  • Experience with Baseplan or alternative ERM systems
