About this role:
We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to assist our client, one of Australia's largest supermarket chains.
Reporting to the delivery manager, you'll need to have proven experience in understanding business processes and translating them into requirements that can be developed into a technical solution.
In this role you must have:
$800-1,000 per day, depending on experience. Six-month contract with the ability to work fully remote, with the Head Office based in Melbourne.

- Proven track record of using analytical problem solving and insights to improve processes or systems in a retail or similar environment.
- Knowledge of information systems development, testing principles, project methodologies and practices.
- Demonstrated experience working successfully with senior management to identify, scope and deliver initiatives aligned business objectives.
- Ability to confidently communicate and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels of business and with external suppliers to drive positive outcomes which directly impact profitability.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise conflicting demands and deliver results when under time/resource pressures.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement of our methodologies and tools to support project delivery.

Qualifications
What we expect from you:
- Minimum 5 years experiences as BA, supporting digital channels in large, complex organisations requiring stakeholder management
- Significant experience in Data analysis and Gap analysis
- Broad knowledge of retail processes and industry
trends - Experience working with PIM
- Proven experience in identification of system APIs, understanding the integration between core systems. Interpretation of system data feeds into reporting requirement
- Knowledge of Agile methods and concepts
- A logical approach to problem-solving and the ability to constructively propose and review solutions
- Proven experience gathering, eliciting, and documenting detailed technical requirements which meet the needs of the functional user stories
Data mapping and transformation logic - Proven ability to manage relationships within and outside the business, including suppliers, customers, and colleagues
- Ability to analyse complex digital systems and concepts in accessible language and communicate these concepts to a range of stakeholders at the appropriate level of detail
