About the role

We have an opportunity for a Finance Manager to be part of our Police Prosecutions and Licensing Enforcement Command. The Finance Manager provides analytical, accounting and financial system support to the command/business unit and coordinates the finance function in order to meet business objectives, focusing on best practice, quality assurance, standardised reporting while ensuring compliance with legislation, policy and procedures and appropriate exercise of financial delegations.

An essential requirement for the role is relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, business, accounting or equivalent industry experience.

The Command is located across the road from the railway station and parking stations are within walking distance.

The successful candidate will provide financial advice to commanders and managers on all matters affecting business planning and financial performance and make evidence based recommendations to inform decision making.
