Page Personnel are working with a well established SME business, with further exciting growth plans, looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their close knit finance team.
Client Details
A well established business, offering hybrid working environment, are recruiting a newly created Assistant Accountant to join their team.
Description
As an Assistant Accountant, you will report into the Finance Manager, responsible for assisting with the running of the finance function.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: sales and purchase ledger management; supplier payment runs; reconciliation of supplier statements; posting daily cash payments/receipts; daily bank reconciliation; assisting with balance sheet reconciliation; assisting with month end journal postings.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have recent knowledge of working in a varied finance role - Essential
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
